Suzanne Stutzman

Suzy Stutzman and Dick Ring

Originally from Illinois, Suzy Stutzman began working for the National Park Service after she graduated from the University of Illinois. In 1984, she transferred to Alaska where she worked as a planner for Gates of the Arctic National Park. She was attracted to this work, because she felt the wilderness of Gates of the Arctic made it the extreme ideal of a national park. Suzy Stutzman went on to become the Lead Planner/Wilderness Coordinator for the National Park Service, Intermountain Region, in Denver, Colorado.
