Fred Williams

Fred Williams

Fred Williams and his wife, Hallie, moved to the Copper Basin from Wyoming in 1963 with their four children. He worked as a fisheries biologist in the area for 24 years. He is now retired from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, but Fred is a member of the local historical society, volunteers at the Copper Valley Museum and the Copper Valley Visitors Center, and after 40 years still sits on the board of the Copper Valley Electric Association. He still actively hunts and fishes in the area. For more about Fred Williams.
