Marian Lightwood

Marian Lightwood

Marian Lightwood was born in Spokane, Washington and moved to Alaska in the 50's. She met her husband Sam in Anchorage and they moved to Kenny Lake, Alaska to claim their homestead and work as teachers. She was present during an interview with Sam for the Wrangell-St. Elias Project Jukebox. The local Kenny Lake school newspaper, Hawk News, has a great article about Marian Lightwood.
