Arthur "Art" Snowden

Art Snowden was Administrative Director for the Alaska Court System in Anchorage, Alaska from 1973-1997. The court's Administration Training Center in Anchorage was named in his honor,and in November 2003 he was inducted into the Warren E. Burger Society of the National Center for State Courts — a national award given in honor of his lifetime contributions to the administration of justice. Art Snowden conducted oral history inteviews with retired judges as part of a court system oral history project.
