Open water at upper end of Wenrich Slough below Wenrich Island

Neil Scannell observes open water at the upper end of Wenrich Slough below Wenrich Island that he says is from water coming from the main channel of the Tanana River, not from an underground spring. He comments on the changing ice levels and sections of ice that have dropped.
