Open water and ice collapse in slough below Randy Pitney's cabin

Large open water area along bank of slough near where the ice has broken off. Sam Demientieff explains how the water level drops, cracks develop, and the ice drops down. This was along the edge of the slough below Randy Pitney's cabin where we had come to investigate an open hole in the middle of the slough (Slough Below Randy Pitney's cabin A).
