Mixed open water along edge of slough across from Walt Peirce's cabin

An area of mixed open water along the edge of the slough across from Walt Peirce's cabin. The area is slack water, allowing iron oxidizing bacteria to develop. This spot is not always open, but in the winter of 2011/2012 it was open for much of the season.
