Description:
Winter ice road crew moving north. The blue building on the far right is the bunk house. The white building in the center rear is the cook house. The cooks slept in a litte shack attached to the rear of the cookhouse. In the center front is one of the Cat tractors. They had four Cats all together for pulling the buildings and equipment. Harold’s road grader pulling the fuel tanks is on the far left, with the Kenworth semi-truck hauling freight on a flatbed behind it. The semi was driven by Don Valesko.
Listen to Harold Tilleson describe the buildings in this picture.
