Description:
Traveling on overflow up Boulder Creek during a spring dog mushing trip from Eagle, Alaska heading down the Yukon River. The overflow is created when the stream freezes to the bottom, forcing the water to flow up through cracks and over the top of the ice, freezing in layer after layer. It can be safe ice to travel over because it is near solid to the rocks below.
