First Fall Fish Camp

Description:
Brad Snow's first fall fish camp, located at "Ford Lake Campground," a spot directly upriver from Calico Bluff where people going into Ford Lake, a half mile walk, would often camp. In later years, Snow moved his fish camp across the river to an island to avoid conflict with a Native claim at this spot. This photo also shows the tent Snow made: a Baker style that can be opened up in warm weather, or closed down, as shown here.
