Carrithers' Cabin

Hope and Spike (Gale, 1896?-1990?) Carrithers with their dog, Missy, at their cabin at Twin Lakes, 1962.  The Carrithers first met Dick Proenneke at the Kodiak Navy base and invited him to spend time at their cabin. From that invitation, their friendship grew so that in 1968 Dick built his own cabin nearby and now uses their cabin as a guest cabin. Spike first hunted sheep at Twin Lakes in 1960.
