ERNESTINE HARA KETTLER: But the food was the greatest problem that we had there. It was just unbelievable, the worms that were -- that was found in the oatmeal that we ate, in the soup we ate. I don't remember what else we were given to eat. I don't remember anything else. You know, for about 30 years afterwards I couldn't eat oatmeal nor soup. It just sickened me, just the mere -- and to this day I keep searching for things in it.
