Left to Right: Elena Balluta Kinney (front), Dick Micey, Wasilisa Micey, Jack Kinney, Simeon Nikita, Sr., Simeon Nikita, Jr., and Colonel A.J. Macnab at Jack Kinney's homestead near Chekok, Alaska, August to September 1921. The dog, named "Dutch", was owned by Jack Kinney and was part border collie, and was trained to deliver letters from Chekok to Millett's Point.
