Description:
A shelf of thin, young ice (known as sikuliaq in Iñupiaq) forms out from a sheared wall of ice into the ocean. Agiukpak is the Iñupiaq word for "a wall of sheared ice along the edge of an open lead that is formed by the grinding action of the free ice against the shorefast ice."
