

Johnson Moses was interviewed on June 6, 2003 by Orville Huntington in Allakaket, Alaska for the Raven's Story radio series on KIYU-AM public radio station in Galena, Alaska. In this interview, Johnson talks about living a traditional subsistence lifestyle based upon hunting, trapping and fishing. He discusses wildlife management and animal conservation, hunting caribou, moose, and waterfowl, and trapping beaver, muskrats and wolves. He also talks about the effect of forest fires and his first experience with tobacco and smoking cigarettes.
