Photographs from a trip that members of the Gunaaxoo Kwaan took to the Akwe River in the summer of 1999 to search for the lost village of Gus'eix. They were inspired to make this journey following the success of locating old village sites at Dry Bay in 1998. In his interview, Bert Adams, Sr. provides a vivid description of the search for Gus'eix.
