Charles and Etta Menadelook, Roger's grandparents, both wearing reindeer skin parkas. They were teachers who taught throughout the region and helped herd reindeer at Sinruk. This photograph was taken by Roger's father before he went to Mt. Edgecumbe for tuberculosis treatment.
