Bill Williams was interviewed in May 2004 by Clinton Brown in Hughes, Alaska for the Raven's Story radio series on KIYU-AM public radio station in Galena, Alaska. In this interview, Bill talks about living a subsistence lifestyle based upon hunting, trapping and fishing, what his childhood was like, dealing with cold weather and harsh living conditions, and shares some traditional stories about wildlife and hunting experiences. He also talks about working in gold mines and describes the seasonal round of subsistence.
