Dyre "Oliver" Dammann

Originally from Norway, Dyre Oliver Dammann is a graduate student in geophysics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks studying the use of remote sensing and satellite mapping in the investigation of sea ice. His graduate project involves mapping the whaler's trails across the ice in Barrow and working with the community on developing locally useful map products. In November 2013, Oliver joined Karen Brewster, Project Jukebox Research Associate, to conduct interviews for the Northern Alaska Sea Ice Project Jukebox. Oliver completed his degree at UAF in spring 2017.
