This graph was created by Greg Finstad, the program manager at the Reindeer Research Program, to show the extant of the caribou range between 1989 and 2000. The researchers did survey flights over the Seward Peninsula to determine the range. This map was used in the journal Rangifer, Special Issue 13, 2002 pg. 33
