Marjorie "Margie" Attla was interviewed on November 14, 2002 by Mike Spindler and Clinton Brown in Galena, Alaska for the Raven's Story radio series on KIYU-AM public radio station in Galena, Alaska. In this interview, Margie talks about living a subsistence-based lifestyle of hunting, trapping, and fishing and her observations and experiences with wildlife and fish. She discusses beavers, caribou, fish, geese, muskrats, rabbits, and wolves. She also talks about berrypicking, food preparation and preservation, being prepared for cold weather, climate change, fishing and life at fish camp, and traveling by dogteam.
