Project Jukebox Survey

Help us redesign the Project Jukebox website by taking a very short survey!

frank.preview.gifGileech'agarohookhyaa Shro' : Don't Forget The Past Project Jukebox contains sixteen historic photographs of Venetie and Arctic Village, Alaska from the personal collection of Kenneth Frank and audio of Kenneth and his wife, Caroline, talking about the images. The Franks were interviewed on September 21, 2000 by Bill Burke, a research technician with the Oral History Program at Elmer E. Rasmuson Library, University of Alaska Fairbanks. The purpose of this interview was to identity some of the photographs that Kenneth had donated to the university's Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives. Kenneth and Caroline chose the sixteen photographs and briefly talk about them both in Gwich'in and in English. In 2020, the Don't Forget The Past Project Jukebox was upgraded from its original HTML format to Drupal. The information in this project reflects the context of the original creation date. Some information may now be out of date.
